The late Queen Elizabeth II was simply known as “gan gan” to her twelve great-grandchildren, pictured above in order of succession. Ranging from the ages of twelve to one, meet all of Queen Elizabeth’s great-grandchildren.
- Prince George of Wales
Prince George, born on July 22, 2013, is second in line to the throne. He is expected to become king one day, as the eldest child of the heir, Prince William.
2. Princess Charlotte of Wales
Princess Charlotte is the second child and only daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Born May 2, 2015, she is third in line to the throne. She is also the first royal child affected by the change from male-preference primogeniture to absolute primogeniture, meaning that when her younger brother, Prince Louis was born, she didn’t lose her spot in line.
3. Prince Louis of Wales
Prince Louis was born on April 23, 2018, and is the third child and second son of Prince William and Kate Middleton. He is fourth in line to the throne.

4. Prince Archie of Sussex
Prince Archie is the eldest child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, making him sixth in line. He is three years old and was born on May 6, 2019. He has recently taken on the royal title of “Prince,” with his grandfather, King Charles’s ascension to the throne.
5. Princess Lilibet of Sussex
As the youngest child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Princess Lilibet, or “Lili”, named after the late Queen is seventh in line to the throne. Like her brother, she just received a royal title, and is now known as “Princess Lilibet.” She was born on June 4, 2021, and she celebrated her 1st birthday in the UK during the Platinum Jubilee.
6. Miss Sienna Mapelli Mozzi
Sienna Elizabeth, also affectionately named after her late great-grandmother was born on September 18, 2021, and is the newest addition to the royal family. As the daughter of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, she is tenth in line to the throne.
7. Master August Brooksbank
August, the son of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank was born on February 9, 2021, and is twelfth in line to the throne.
8. Miss Savannah Phillips
Queen Elizabeth’s eldest grandchild, Savannah, was born on December 29, 2010. She is the daughter of Peter and Autumn Phillips and is currently eighteenth in line.
9. Miss Isla Phillips
Isla is the second daughter and youngest child of Peter and Autumn Phillips, making her nineteenth in line to the throne. She is ten years old, born on March 29, 2012.

10. Miss Mia Tindall
Mia is twenty-first in line to the throne. Mike and Zara Tindall welcomed her on January 17, 2014, and she has been called her family’s “saving grace,” after Zara suffered a miscarriage.
11. Miss Lena Tindall
Lena, born January 18, 2018, is the second daughter of Mike and Zara Tindall and sits twenty-second in line to the throne.
12. Master Lucas Tindall
As Mike and Zara Tindall’s third child and only son, Lucas is twenty-third in line, sitting behind his two older sisters due to the change from male preference to absolute primogeniture. He was born on March 21, 2021, making him just a year old.
